What do the words "in the meantime" mean? The "meantime" is where you are in your life right now. In my life right now, I'm in this awkward, stuck-in-the-middle phase. I'm on my way to where I'm going, but I still have a long way to go. For dreamers like me, it's easy to keep your head in the clouds. But it's important to take a step back and be aware of where you are right now. Life is a bumpy road, and I've learned to enjoy the journey.
Right now, I'm an 18 year old girl who loves to shine on stage and then be able to flip the switch and still be a kid. I have dreams of living in Nashville someday, but in the meantime, there's nothing wrong with calling Southborough, Mass., my home.
I know that nothing lasts forever. Every happy and thrilling moment in life eventually fades into a memory, just like every sad and hard moment will. Whether you're going through happiness or pain, just know that it won't last forever. This is why it's important to cherish the precious moments of life and fight through the hard ones.
While brainstorming ideas for a new album, I really wanted to have a song that talks about what my life is like "In the Meantime" because I'm proud of where I'm at and excited for where I'm going.
