Chanel Creates Fake Airport Terminal for Paris Fashion Week

Ever thought that Karl Lagerfeld, head designer and creative director of Chanel, has his head up in the clouds? Here's the proof.

For the Chanel SS16 Paris Fashion Week show, Karl transformed the Grand Palais, a historic building and museum into an airport terminal for (what else?) Chanel Airlines, surely the chicest in the air travel biz. We're thinking planes boasting quilted leather seats and seatbelts with a double C buckle. YASSS.

Anyway, the models strolled through the terminal like they were on a mission to get their boarding pass and sit their skinny booties on a flight. Among the A-listers in the front row were Cara Delevingne and Lily Rose-Depp.

Airplanes were a theme on some of the separates, accessorized with baseball caps or low, loose pigtails.
