Taylor Swift is over talking about the infamous Nicki Minaj VMAs spat. But that doesn't mean she didn't learn anything from their fight.

During a recent interview with NME magazine, Tay discussed her "feud" with the rapper...sort of.

"I don't want to talk about it," she said to them. "But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone's management, I get their number and I text them. It's an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015."

In case you forget, their little argument took place this past summer, after the 2015 MTV Video Music Award nominations came out. Nicki tweeted that her video for "Anaconda" wasn't nominated for "Video of the Year" because the award ceremony "celebrates women with very slim bodies," a comment that T-Swift assumed was directed at her, when Nicki was making a larger statement about how she feels black female artists are often overlooked when it comes to awards and acknowledgement.

They've obviously made up since then. They performed together at the awards show. But Taylor's reminder to take a second before you tweet is something we can all take to heart.
