Jamie started testosterone in 2012 and tells Buzzfeed News that he had initially only planned to do the selfie-a-day thing for the first 365 days. "I initially intended to just do it for the first year," he told them. "But then I didn't get any facial hair in my first year."
The second year, the facial hair finally started growing, and there were some other changes, too. "My face started to get longer and I lost the chubby cheeks," he recalled. And he did finally get a full beard, which he's proudly displaying in the last photo in the series.
Jamie also did a short film on his transition, which he shared on YouTube (video below). His journey, and the unique way he documented it, caught the attention of a TV producer, who has included him in a documentary for Channel 4 about transgender men.
