Chrissy Teigen just revealed the best news ever.
Not long after sharing with the world that she and her hubby John Legend have been having issues conceiving a baby for years, the FabLife talk show host announced that they are expecting their first child together.
"John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :)," she captioned a shot on Instagram of him palming her stomach Monday. "As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx." So. Exciting.
Chrissy's news comes just a few weeks after a chat on The FABLife, where she and Tyra Banks both revealed that they had been struggling with fertility issues. "I just wanted to talk about it for so long," Chrissy told E! News afterwards. "It didn't feel right to tweet like, 'Ugh, doing my IVF shots again.'"
After she talked about it on the show, Chrissy got a ton of support from fans, with the Victoria's Secret supermodel adding, "Usually I'm getting crap from people [on social media], but the amount of stories that were shared to both of us was really cool to see."
"Like I said, John and I have been going through this for years and it's something that has been a part of our lives and our friends have known," she continued. "So, it's just nice to have a show and kind of acknowledge it to people because I felt like I was keeping a secret from them and it was weird. So it's nice to have all my social media friends know and have them share their stories, too."
We're so glad it worked out for them, and we can't wait to meet Chrissy and John's little one!
