The fall is officially here, and while outdated beauty rules are telling girls to mask their fun, summer hair colors - pink, lavenders and Kylie Jenner blue - there's a group of girls breaking all the rules. Have you ever heard of tie-dye hair? Well, it's totally a thing now. Girls are actually dyeing their hair in hopes to achieve colorful swirls reminiscent of the '70s. We must admit, we're a bit obsessed with the growing Instagram trend. It's fun, flirty and oh so Katy Perry.
Louisiana based hair stylist, Rickey Zito aka Hair God Zito, was one of the first to introduce the growing 'do to the world. Inspired by fashion trends seen during S/S 2016 New York Fashion Week, he created a user friendly tutorial that will have your hair looking like no one else's.
Another major player in the tie-dye hair world is Dj Victory, a hairstylist and makeup artist who just gets hair coloring. She doesn't want you to mistake her unique technique in hair coloring as a great photoshop job either. She takes extreme pride in her master skills, creating some of the most swirly and wonderful hair designs we've ever seen.
What are your thoughts on tie-dye hair? Will you be trying it out this season?
