Turns out, Liam Payne is going to be busy during One Direction's upcoming break – well, that's what his dad says, anyway.
While solo career rumors have been swirling like, forever about the 1D guys, it sounds like Liam will be working on his own material when the band is on hiatus.
In a new interview with Express & Star, Liam's dad, Geoff, said his son is already putting in the work, explaining, "I've heard some of his output in the studio and it's quite strong."
He added, "Over the years I've watched him grow as an artist; watched him learn how to write songs. He probably wrote 50 percent of the last two 1D albums and he's already done remixes for other performers."
As for that break, Geoff reckons that Liam won't want to just chill, saying, "I would hope he'll take a breather once 1D is done, but knowing Liam he'll want to get back into it after a few months."
