Why I Love Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence is one of Hollywood's highest paid actresses. She is only 25 years old, but she is known worldwide as "Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire." Hunger Games was her big break. Of course, she's been in other movies like X-Men, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and more.

Her upcoming movie Mockingjay Part 2 will hit theaters in November. I'm really excited; I've gone to the premiere of almost all her movies for the past three years with the same squad. Catching Fire was amazing, but of course, the ending left us hanging. I can say the same with Mockingjay Part 1. In a way, I kinda like how they split the last movie into two parts; that way, we can enjoy it longer. After this movie, I think I'm gonna be so sad because there will be no more Hunger Games movies to see or books to read. Unless, of course, Suzanne Collins writes another book, and they decide to make it into a movie!
I think they picked the right girl for the part of Katniss. Jennifer truly portrays her well. I heard Jennifer auditioned for the part of Bella Swan for the movie Twilight. She competed for the part with Kristen Stewart; Jennifer, of course, lost it to her later. She tell the media she's glad she lost it to her. Imagine if she did get the part of Bella. She would have never played Katniss. Just thinking about that makes me cringe. I can't imagine Jennifer playing Bella. It's so not her.

Jennifer is a great role model to girls all over the world. Instead of crying about not getting a part for a movie she wanted, she got up and landed a huge part on what is now a worldwide phenomenon. I'm talking about The Hunger Games, of course. She's also funny charming and absolutely stunning. I mean, did you ever see her photoshoot from the Dior campaign?

Jennifer continues to shock me with her amazing acting skills and the way that she slayed that whole "If we burn, you burn with us!" line in Mockingjay. Also, she gave me goosebumps when she sang "The Hanging Tree." Let's not forget the time she made us all cry when she sang Rue's lullaby and when she delivered her speech about her death to her district.

She's an amazing actress and continues to amaze me.
