Fall is obviously everyone's favorite season - PSLs, sweater weather, Halloween - and SPORTS. From September through January, we live for Sunday nights, cheering on our favorite football teams and indulging in some homemade nachos with a big group of friends.
Jimmy Fallon, once again, proves he's just like us - licking the last bit of queso from the bowl - only his football-watching guests include high profile connects like G-III, the company that also has licensing deals with Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. Jimmy has created a line of customizable sportswear called "Hands High" for the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL - with logos in all different places, especially under the arm. Get it? Because if you raise your hands high, you'll see the logo! (Oh Jimmy...) According to WWD, the collection will eventually include colleges as well.
The late night host was super giddy in a statement on Nasdaq:
"I'm so excited to team with G-III who took my vision and made it a reality. Hands High will fire up crowds to cheer with their hands in the air and bring the thrill of the game to a whole new level of fun."Check out Jimmy's official announcement, as well as official pictures of the men's line on The Tonight Show below.
Wondering how the designs would actually look on a women's line, David Cooper, who heads the PR and release of the brand, said this:
"The creative inspiration will be similar to the men's line, with incorporation of team marks in the under arm area. The product will include great fabrics and fashion forward silhouettes."
Unfortunately, women's sizes won't be available until the spring, after most sports seasons are over. Guess Jimmy needs more time to perfect those "fashion forward silhouettes." Game on!
