Branded web mini series? Yawn, we normally would say. But the newest web series from fashion brand BB Dakota is actually pretty hilarious - it's a self-described "sitcom" written and directed by up-and-coming comedian, Casey Jane Ellison.

Casey Jane does not hold back in The Right and Left Brains of Casey Jane's, taking shots at a millennial "creative" type who's fired from her job. The dialogue is peppered with incredibly obvious BB Dakota references, and her deadpan stare is right on point. You can probably relate to a lot of the ish that gets thrown her way. If you're into Broad City or even Girls, you'll probably LOL a few times.

The one thing we could do without is the domestic violence scene in which Casey takes a beating from her ex-girlfriend Jessica (who rocks a uniquely absurd hairstyle that you just need to see to understand).

This isn't the first time BB Dakota has partnered up with girl talent. They've also done some videos with comedic beauty blogger Megan MacKay and photographer and filmmaker Petra Collins.

We can't wait to see what Casey Jane takes on next! We'll definitely be following her.
