While scouring the pink carpet, we had the chance to meet some of the biggest digital influencers on YouTube and social media, including Niki and Gabi, Angel Merino, Whitney White, Baddie Winkle, Teala Dunn, Jeannie Mai and Jay Manuel who you probably remember as Tyra Banks' right-hand man on America's Next Top Model. All of these YouTube makeup sensations (who the event expertly referred to as its "creators") had something incredible to say about what #BUILTBYGIRLS means to them. Female empowerment was definitely in the air - you could almost smell it - as our favorite Internet personalities all expressed how something #BUILTBYGIRLS meant inspiring women, especially young girls, to put their hearts and their time into whatever it is they love, on top of realizing that they are beautiful creators themselves.
And yes, there was no shortage of cosmetics. Brands like Revlon, Essie, Garnier, Physician's Formula, Tarte, NYX Cosmetics and Maybelline showed up to premiere some of their best products with some awesome giveaways. New brands like Winky Lux and Velvet 59 debuted their bright and bold products to get us super excited about fall looks.
Needless to say, we will totally be going back next year! If you want even more Beautycon BTS, peep this video!
