Aaron Williams knows fashion. We got to *exclusively* chat with the stylist about how he brought his vision together for country star, Cady Groves', new roller-disco inspired music video, Dreams. Check it out!

CAMBIO: Where did you find inspiration for the outfits?
AARON WILLIAMS: I am a big fan of the late '70s/early '80s...popular icons of time like Farrah Fawcett and Olivia Newton John were a huge inspiration for these looks. Also during this time, rollerskating was a HUGE phenomenon that incorporated fashion, disco and athleticism that I thought would be perfect to draw upon for this music video.

What's your favorite outfit from the video and why?
I have gone back on forth on this one, but I think it would have to be our little red and white number we did for Ms. Groves. We see Cady dressed in a white mohair short sleeve crop top, red short shorts with white piping and classic knee socks with red and blue stripes. The look I wanted to create was a nod to the iconic image of Farrah Fawcett in her red bathing suit shot by Bruce McBroom in 1976. Cady is a fun loving, sweet, and sexy young woman, and we wanted this look to portray that!

How does the music or the person you're working with influence the outfits you pull?
The artist and their music are pretty much inseparable, and I want to create a look and feel that reflects who they are and what story they are telling. My goal as a stylist is to create something the artist feels confident in and allows them to shine. Cady was ready to dive in and try on whatever I would throw at her and just a dream to work with! Truly a beautiful human being!

If you want to recreate any of the major looks Aaron created for the Dreams video, you can find most of the pieces at American Apparel. How easy!
