We STILL hadn't gotten over Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's split and now it looks like we won't have to. The couple has decided to call off their divorce in the wake of Lamar Odom's medical emergency. Khloe has been by Lamar's side since he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on October 13 and it looks like this tragedy has brought them back together.
Even though the couple had recently signed final divorce papers, the family court judge had not yet signed off on them, so it wasn't official. According to TMZ, Khloe's lawyer went before a judge this morning and presented a document signed by both Khloe and Lamar, asking that divorce paperwork be withdrawn. The request was granted and Khloe and Lamar will stay husband and wife.
Khloe had made numerous attempts to save their marriage, and was very open about the fact that if it were up to her, she would still be married to Lamar. "He was my husband, and I still wish he was, and, you know, I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but there's nothing I can do. Lamar has to do things in order to change that aspect," she told E! News, "Yeah, if I had my way, I'd be married to Lamar in two seconds."
It's sad that it took something so devastating to bring them back together, but hopefully this will bring about the change in Lamar's lifestyle that Khloe was talking about and they can go back to being the happy couple they once were.
