Liam Payne gave fans quite a scare when he was too ill to perform at yesterday's Belfast concert, with One Direction forced to cancel the show right before they were supposed to go on. While we still don't know what his mystery illness was, Liam has taken to Twitter to apologize and offer up that he's doing better now, thankfully.

He tweeted: "I'm so sorry to everybody I disappointed last night. I'm feeling better now. I really hope everyone can make the rescheduled date on Friday."

He added, "Thank you so much for all the trends and lovely messages you guys did for me it really shows how amazing u guys actually are. As I said I'm feeling much better now and I really can't wait to perform and make it up to everyone later." As for what exactly happened, Harry Styles chatted earlier today with BBC Radio 2, saying, "He's okay. He was trying to get there last night and he was just very, very ill."

He added, "To be honest, we feel kind of lucky that we've got to this point and never cancelled one," adding, "So obviously, we're all very disappointed and very, very much apologize to everyone who was there."

Harry also explained that "It happened so late because we were trying to get on and then it was just impossible – he wasn't well enough."
