10/23 Update: Android Central received an anonymous tip that the battery life of the Droid Turbo 2 is 48 hours, and can charge up to 13 hours of battery life in 15 minutes. It keeps sounding better and better.
It's Back to the Future Day, and fittingly, Verizon Tweeted a clip of a phone that's supposed to be some next-level tech ish (although maybe not quite as cool as the Delorean time machine...). The phone in the video matches leaked descriptions of the new Motorola Droid Turbo 2 that's set to release on October 27, reports EnGadget.
Verizon clearly knows who they are marketing to, because we are very imperfect people who drop our phones on the REG and we immediately wanted this phone. The new phone reportedly has the world's first SHATTERPROOF screen, according to promos that were leaked by Droid Life.

For Droid Turbo newbies, the first model charged eight hours of battery life in just 15 minutes, so we expect the Turbo 2 to be no different.
Old phone starting to look a little shabby? With the new Android Marshmallow OS and these awesome new models, we might reconsider our iPhones pretty soon.
Full disclosure: Verizon has acquired Cambio's parent company, AOL, but we only report on their stuff when we think it's cool AF.
