Corey had been threatening to take Leah back to court to pursue custody during the last season of Teen Mom 2, but it looked like they'd worked everything out. Turns out, that wasn't the end of the story.
In Touch Weekly exclusively reports that Leah lost custody of the girls, effective immediately, during an October 13 court hearing. "Leah's really been screwing up since then, so Corey took her back to court. The judge looked at the girls' school records, which show that they've been late for school, and made the change in custody," their source explains.
Dr. Drew, who has been the host of the Teen Mom and 16 & Pregnant reunion specials for years, commented on Leah's situation during an interview on the Rachael Ray Show, reminding everyone that she's going through a lot and to share his well-wishes for her.
"If you saw the last reunion show, which is the last time I had contact with her, I believe she was making progress," he explained. "I don't know if this recent issue with the child custody is going to set her back, I certainly wish her the best, she is working very hard. This has been a terribly stressful and painful time for her, so let's all wish her the best."
We second that. We can't even imagine how difficult the last few months have been for Leah, but we continue to wish her all the best.
