Cara Delevingne Just Embarrassed a Fan on Instagram

There are few celebs that look as fun to hang with as Cara Delevingne. The model-turned-actress never fails to speak her mind, rocks ah-mazing matching Halloween costumes with her BFF Kendall Jenner, and has an adorable bunny rabbit whom has way more Instagram followers than any of us hope to. The girl is seriously on top of her career game right now, so it's no surprise that she has tons of fans who would love to join her squad. Unfortunately, Cara's new Instagram message to a fan is now the exact thing rubbing people the wrong way.

After Cara saw a girl texting her friend about how she was "hanging out" with Cara, Kendall, and Gigi Hadid, Cara snapped a pic of the convo and posted it on her own Instagram with the caption "pretty sure we've never met" underneath. She even included the hashtag #CaughtRedHanded to suggest that this girl was totally fibbing about chilling with this tight girl squad.

Pretty sure we have never met #caughtredhanded #HAHAHA

After seeing the pic, fans started calling Cara out on this not-so-nice behavior. Cara claimed that she was just joking around, but publicly calling this person out is hardly model behavior. It is straight-up embarrassing, regardless of the intention. The fan may not have been buddy-buddy with Cara and her crew as the text would suggest, but we also have zero context: for all we know, she could have been joking with her pals about hanging out with Cara's squad. If I saw Cara out and about the first thing I'd have texted to my BFFs would be, "Oh, you know, just hanging out with a Jenner and some other models, NBD."No one is saying that celebrities have to be perfect or always receptive to their fans, but really, isn't it always nice to be nice?
