As a reminder of the strides we've made, on October 23, 1915, women paraded down Fifth Avenue in New York City to support the women's suffrage movement, according to TIME. Women wouldn't actually get the right to vote until four years later. SMH.
While women's rights have come a long way in the last century, we still are far from gender equality. We are still fighting for equal pay, the right to an education and freedom from sexual harassment, as seen in this video.
