Who Made More Money This Year, Katy Perry or Taylor Swift?

Forbes just released their list of the World's Highest-Paid Women in Music and Katy Perry came out on top, earning a staggering $135 million this year. How did she do it? She made more than $2 million per city during her Prismatic World Tour, plus she had some pretty lucrative contracts with Coty, Clarie's and CoverGirl.

Taylor Swift scored the second place spot, earning $80 million. Third place went to Fleetwood Mac, which has three guys (Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie), but there are also two women in the group (Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie), which made them eligible for the Forbes list. The group earned $59.5 million, beating out Lady Gaga by half a million.

Crazy that half a million looks like nothing when you're looking at these numbers, yet it's almost 10 times the average American household income :::sigh:::

Anyway, next on the list was Beyonce, who brought in $54.5 million, followed by Britney Spears, who earned $31 million with her hugely successful Las Vegas residency.

Congrats to all of these bada** ladies!
