For the second time this year, Sia took to the Saturday Night Live stage for an absolutely electrifying performance, singing "Alive" and "Bird Set Free" from her forthcoming album This is Acting.

Speaking of acting, Sia's set included a choir and an adult performer who took the place of 9-year-old Mahiro Takano, the star of the "Alive" video. While their presence certainly helped take things up a notch, we can't get enough of little Mahiro and wished she was there to execute some of her kick-ass moves on stage. Seeing as how she's an actress, dancer and martial artist, perhaps she was too busy, but hopefully we'll see her team up again with Sia soon.

For "Bird Set Free," Sia switched things up a bit by swapping out her blue suit and gigantic bow for a black and white ensemble. Backed by a piano, the singer delivered the lyrics, "I sing for love/I sing for me/I shout it out like a bird set free." Meanwhile, the dancer vividly interpreted Sia's tale of striving towards freedom by wriggling her way out of a cocoon of black fabric.

Whew! Sia always goes all the way in with her performances and these definitely left us feeling alive.
