Shut. It. Down. A fourth grader's math homework answer is drawing plenty of attention for her high moral code – er, well, "girl code," as she slammed a ridiculous question in the best way possible.

Maddy's mom, Jenn Douglas, shared a snap of the math homework with the bizarre (and not-very-age-appropriate) question on Facebook...and her daughter's kick-ass response, with the hashtag #girlcodetrumpscommoncore.

Word problems have a history of being lame with the scenarios used, so there's nothing new there. The difference with this one is it's all about different combinations of high schoolers dating – which seems kind of beyond what a fourth grader should be exposed to.

She refused to answer the question, writing: "I can't answer this problem because my mom says according to girl code you shouldn't date a friends x boyfriend."

Mic drop.

Maddy's mom told The Huffington Post: "I consider myself to be a completely open-minded type person and as a single mom, try to teach my children about equality and about different types of people they will encounter, but my first reaction was it was not an appropriate question for a fourth grader or really any grade."

The teacher's response? Maddy's teacher totally agreed, saying, "Good point."
