Kate Winslet's daughter has a major crush on Liam Hemsworth (not that we blame her), so when her mom started shooting steamy scenes with him for their new film, she was understandably envious.
"When I told my daughter that I was shooting the scene that day, she spluttered...I took it to be jealousy," the actress told BBC's The One Show Wednesday, while talking about The Dressmaker. "But I did feel quite bad for Liam. He's a sweet guy but I couldn't stop giggling."
Aside from Kate's giggle fest during sex scenes, she actually didn't know too much about Liam before they started shooting. Thankfully, her 15-year-old daughter schooled her, even filling Kate in on Gale. "It's only because of her that I know the name of the character that Liam plays in The Hunger Games– I wouldn't have a clue otherwise!" she said on This Morning on Thursday, according to People. "And it's rather alarming that she is actually closer in age to Liam than I am...she only pointed that out to me the other day, and I was like, 'Oh shhh!'"
In spite of that age difference, Kate couldn't stop gushing over Liam's professionalism, adding, "Liam is a lovely, lovely guy, much is made of how he looks and he's physically extremely beautiful, but he's a fabulous chap and was really up for mucking in with the rest of us. But my daughter, Mia, was extremely jealous, along with all of her friends." Seriously...can you imagine your mom making out with Liam?! We would be jealous too.
As for The Dressmaker, Kate plays a fashionable dressmaker who returns to her small hometown in rural Australia to right wrongs from her past, and ends up falling for Liam's character.
