Kim Kardashian had complications in her first pregnancy that caused her to have daughter North West six weeks early. Following the delivery of baby North, she suffered from placenta accreta, where her placenta stayed attached inside her uterus. As a result, she had to undergo what she describes as the "most painful experience of my life" as the doctor scraped it out by hand.

Due to her complicated medical situation, Kim had a very difficult time even getting pregnant with her second child and now that she is expecting, it's obviously a high-risk pregnancy.

In a new blog post on her website and app, entitled "From the Desk of High-Risk Pregnancy," Kim explained how she's getting very anxious about her delivery for those reasons. "With the issues I had last time, my risk of having preeclampsia and placenta acreeta are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do to prevent it, so my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery," she wrote.

She also explained that there is a small chance she'll have to undergo a hysterectomy after delivery. "In a very rare case, I might need a hysterectomy after delivery if my condition is severe enough, but luckily my doctor doesn't think this will happen."

Kim's son is due sometime around Christmas, but since she had North so early, she admits that it could be any day now!
