As stoked as fans should be for the return of Pretty Little Liars on Jan. 12, the second half of Season 6 puts us even closer to the ultimate finale of the addictive mystery series. Sadly, Pretty Little Liars will end after Season 7 - and, hopefully, after we get the answers to our many, many questions. If that's the kind of news that will bum you out for days, fear not: showrunner I. Marlene King just dropped a major hint about a Pretty Little Liars movie, and it may be just the bonus that fans need to cope with the show's end.

Marlene sat down on Good Morning America's livestream on Thursday to spill a little bit about the show, and ended up dropping some info about a potential Pretty Little Liars film. Here's what she said about whether there could ever be a big screen version (or even a made-for-TV version) of PLL:

We've got some really big ideas for a great PLL movie, but that won't happen right after the series ends...I think we'll take a little break and let everybody go off and do a few things and hopefully we'll come back together again and do something really special.

The best thing about this new info? The Pretty Little Liars powers that be have basically confirmed that even when the show is over, it's not really over. Just like how we can never really get rid of A on the show, there's always the potential for the series to come back. The PLL movie may be several years away, but it's good to know that while Marlene will be closing the chapter on the TV show, she's not locking our beloved characters away forever.
