Just when we've finally dusted off our favorite sweaters and said let it go-ooo to summer (see what we did there?), it's time to start thinking about accessorizing. Not sure about you guys, but out here on the California coast we don't exactly see a lot of snow (unless we drive a few hours to find mountains, but who's got that time?). It's a real bummer, this lack of snow thing. We do, however, have the next best thing and that is - in essence - watching our favorite winter-y movies on a drool-inspiring loop. It's just that time of year when we want to drop everything, run away, and become Elsa in our ice castle.

I know, I know. That's just not reality, yada yada. But the good news is that we can bring some of that winter whimsy into our lives without causing family conflicts or quitting our jobs or wearing the same winter ballgown every day. I'm talking about temporary tattoos that bring the chill to you, without all the frostbite.

Thanks to the lifestyle/jewelry brand based out of LA called Mr. Kate - created by the talented metalsmith and designer Kate Albrecht - we can now buy temporary white tats that compliment our winter looks more than any snowman would ever be able to. Part of their BeautyMarks "The New Makeup" line, these white tats are hand drawn and feature snowflakes, crystalline patterns, and "other ethereal accents," according to the shop.

For $12 for two sheets, you can channel your own Queen Frostine this season without breaking the bank (or, you know, actually going under the needle). The tattoos last around 4 days, and can be removed at any time with body oil. Mr. Kate also sells other BeautyMarks - think sparkles and confetti. For your face. We love these! Grab them before they melt.
