Who does not like cake?!?! When it is made in the microwave and ready in under 10 minutes, it is even better.

I found this recipe one Saturday night when I was home, working on finals, and really wanted cake. Don't judge me; cake doesn't judge anyone. I went on the trusty thing called Pinterest and looked up mug desserts. I fell upon this beautiful recipe.

  • 4 tablespoons of all purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Combine all of the ingredients in an oversized coffee mug. Whisk well with a small whisk until smooth. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes and then take it out to check to see if it is done. If not, continue to microwave in 30-second intervals. Mine was done at the time it says. The best part is when the peanut butter is still creamy, and it tastes so yummy.

Here is what mine looked like:
