This may be a crime against candy, but am I the only one who seriously prefers the holiday Reese's Peanut Butter Cups over the normal ones? I'm talking pumpkins, trees, eggs - you name it. There's always way more delicious peanut butter filling in the holiday-themed cups, and I am SO all about that PB life. This year, however, there's a lot more controversy surrounding the Christmas
-themed Reese's than ever before. How come the trees don't look like trees this year?!
Some peanut butter lovers unwrapped a Reese's Peanut Butter Tree this year to discover something quite alarming. Instead of a Christmas tree, the Reese's candy was shaped like an amorphous blob - or, perhaps more accurately, one of the Reese's eggs that show up around Easter time. Obviously, fans voiced their disapproval on Twitter:I'm pretty sure that no one expected Reese's to individually carve leaves onto these candies, but if you're going to label something a tree... well, maybe actually make it look like one. The holiday candies were never perfect mini Christmas trees, but I think we can all agree that this one was at least making an attempt:Get your ish together, Reese's trees.
