*NSYNC was enjoying a really long run with the record for single-week album debut sales. And then, on November 20, Adele was like "Hello...it's me" annnnddddd that was the end of that.

In more technical terms, the band's 'No Strings Attached' album sold 2,416,000 copies back in 2000, which was (and remained) the most sales any single album made during its debut week...until now. Fifteen long years later, they've been dethroned by Adele's '25' album, which sold 2,433,0000 copies in just four days.

And guess what? They're not even mad at it! First of all, how CAN you even be mad at Queen Adele? Second of all, it's pretty much impossible NOT to love her. In fact, one of the band members even contributed to those sales by buying a copy!

"Records are always meant to be broken, but with technology and current music business model, I thought this one would be tough to beat," Joey Fatone told Billboard. "In all honesty, Adele is the truth -- kinda excited a rare talent like hers is in the same breath as our group. I'm a huge fan....I even bought the damn album." Yassss, Joey!

And Joey isn't the only one showing Adele some love. JC Chasez tweeted this after hearing the news: And Lance Bass shared this awesome pun as he congratulated her:Chris Kirkpatrick retweeted this from Access Hollywood:
Hell, even the official *NSYNC account replied this to a fan who said if you've gotta lose, it's not so bad to lose to Adele: The only one we haven't heard from yet is Justin Timberlake. Where you at, JT?
