Most people use Instagram to document their life journeys, which can include anything from a gorgeous #NoFilter summer sunset to the bizarre way the barista at Starbucks spelled your name. Personal Insta accounts may populate the app, but Instagram is also a great way to promote an organization, blog, or business. Now, a new update is making it even easier for everyday users to use Instagram for this kind of social media promotion.

Until now, users couldn't toggle between their personal and promotional accounts: they would have to log into the app with one username and password, sign out, and then sign in to another. That's super annoying, not to mention kind of stressful - it's all too easy to accidentally post that cute pic of bae to your volleyball team's account. Talk about awk. With the new update, Instagram allows users to log in once to their separate accounts, and then toggle between them whenever they need to. So what does this app update mean for your life? Well, if you ever wanted to start an Instagram account where you showed off your delicious baked goods, your adorable puppy, or you achieving some amazing #FitnessGoals, it has never been easier. Go ahead: get snap happy.

Unfortunately, there is one bummer to this update. While the update is available for Android users, iPhone Instagrammers will have to wait. Here's hoping that we all can get multi-user functionality to our phones ASAP: I feel an influx of food blogs coming on!
