OK, OK, seeing a video of a model catwalking on Instagram is not that weird. But early this week, several hundred people began posting their own walks on Instagram, and the social media movement has an amazing cause behind it.

On Monday, the two-week U.N. Climate Change Conference (#COP21) began, in which 40,000 people from around the globe have come together to try and agree on a way to prevent greenhouse emissions and counteract global climate change, according to New York Magazine. The event was supposed to kick off with a rally on Sunday, November 29, but plans to hold a large demonstration were canceled after the Paris attacks.

Amber and Giovanni Testino (brother of the famous photographer Mario Testino), of the artist management and creative content agency Art Partner, decided that the world could still hold a march: online. They reached out to their circle, which just so happens to be filled with some of the world's most #Flawless models, photographers and other industry peeps, according to The Cut. Amber and Giovanni dubbed the movement the "Climate Catwalk," and the Instagram post below will clue you in on how to participate:
So far, some huge celebs have joined the cause, like Lily Aldridge, Instagram's Eva Chen and model Anja Rubik, who walked barefoot in the snow (ballsy). Lily nominated gal pals Joan Smalls and Selena Gomez to step up next, so we'll be stalking their accounts over the next couple of days.
Now walk it out.
