We don't know about you, but when we think of our grandmothers we think of sweet old women who enjoy baking cookies, have great stories from JFK's days as president and marvel at the "doodads" we call our cell phones. We can't really imagine our grannies becoming Instagram famous or the face of a Kate Spade campaign, let alone knowing what social media is. But that doesn't stop these nannas on our list. From their 60s all the way into their 90s, these older ladies are not just taking a pause from knitting their grandkids a sweater, they're straight up killing the fashion game. Making appearances in major ad campaigns and befriending all the stars we could only dream of meeting, these fine women are showing us that age is just a number and completely redefining #goals.

And we're pretty much in awe of them.

1. Iris Apfel
Iris Apfel is more than just a 94 year-old woman (yes, you read that number correctly) making waves for her pops of red lipstick, colorful bangles and bug-eyed specs; she's a fashion icon. Back in the day, Iris worked at Women's Wear Daily and ran her own textile company between the years 1948 and 1992. That's before most of us were born. That's before most of our parents were born.

After doing interior design work for nine different White House administrations, Iris had some of her outfits featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 2005 Costume Institute Exhibition.
Now, Iris has a documentary created entirely about her life. This year she even became the face of a Kate Spade spring ad campaign. Her Advice to women who still want to be kicking late into their 90's?
"I think if women put more of the time and money they put on their heads into their heads, they'd be better off."

Well said, Iris. You're our future fashion #inspo.

2. Yasmina Rossi
Not really sure about you, but when we hit 60 we'd be completely satisfied if we're still taking killer Insta photos (if Instagram is still around, of course). Yasmina Rossi on the other hand, isn't settling for anything less than a booming modeling career at age 59. Born in France, Yasmina started modeling in her late 20's but really hit it big at age 45 when she landed a gig with Macy's department store. Now, she's an internationally known and sought after model, working with a range of widely known brands like Marks & Spencer and Hermes.

And she has grandkids.
She's also got the most banging body that most of us can't even get in our 20s. Her secret to looking so flawless all of these years? She says eating organically, getting in an avocado each day and the occasional olive oil rub down makes her skin look amazing.

If the secret to youth is guacamole every day then we are so in.

3. Baddie Winkle

Unless you've been living under a rock the past two years, you probably know who Instagram famous granny Baddie Winkle is. This zainy 87-year-old is famous for her outlandish styles, millennial-like attitude and advocating the legalization of marijuana. Even with having grandkids and great-grandkids, Baddie still manages to have 1.7 million followers on Instagram, getting hundreds of thousands of likes on each of her photos.

Did we mention she's Miley Cyrus' role model?

We were lucky enough to meet Baddie this year at BeautyCon and she was everything you'd expect from an octogenarian who occasionally attends frat parties. Clad in a dress taken straight from Miley Cyrus' VMAs performance, Baddie was a kind older woman with a heavy Kentucky accent and a huge smile on her face.

I LOVE @beautyconofficial 💘

She told us just how much she loves Miley and we couldn't help but gush about how we wished she was our grandmother. She says she gets that a lot. Of course.

Baddie only started her Instagram account in 2014 (with a little help from her grandchildren) but she's already garnered a huge following from social media addicts and celebrities alike. Yes, she knows the world is jealous but she doesn't mind. Haters gunna hate, right Baddie?

HI HATER
