Remember when your older sister documented her entire life on a digital camera? We don't either. We can't remember the last time any one actually used a digital camera, but Korean company BOUD thinks that there's still hope for cameras that don't live inside of your iPhone.
BOUD has developed the Flex Cam PIC, a camera that looks like an alien with a cyclops' eye (Fast Company called it a Pixar character #hilar.) Our personal fav? The one that looks like Frankenstein (far left.)
That value prop of the camera is that it's designed to be flexible for any situation: selfies, traveling, hiking, or doing any sort of activity where it's tough to take a photo. It's pretty difficult to hold your phone and take a snap while you're ice skating with your crush this holiday season, and the Flex Cam could be your only hope to catch a photo of the epic moment.
The camera sets up just like it looks: to bend around whatever you need it to. That could be your wrist, backpack, purse, whatever. All you need to do to get your photos is plug it into your USB drive on your computer. The company even had a crowdfund on Indiegogo this fall, raising enough money to sell it commercially this year.
