Blake Lively spent the weekend in Australia with the "Bad Blood" crooner, hanging out with a kangaroo and having a blast at Warner Bros. Movie World theme park in Queensland. "Selfie game was strong ...until I got photo bombed by some crazy fan. Where's security when you need it (the cat's for you @taylorswift )," Blake captioned a selfie with a cat emoji and an emoji sticking its tongue out.
In the shot, a kangaroo can be seen putting its face in the camera, as Blake and Taylor (who could pass as sisters) flash surprise looks in the background. The songstress also posted an epic shot of the two of them jumping up in the park and flashing smiles. "Yesterday was such an amazing day off-- roller coasters, kangaroos and LOLs with @blakelively," Taylor wrote. "See you tonight, Adelaide!" Um, where was our invite?
In the midst of their girls' day out, the pop star also got some solo selfies while she played with the marsupial, captioning one particularly cute shot of herself petting it, "Me: Please Love Me; Kangaroo: No."
As for why our faves were there, Taylor stopped by Australia to perform for her 1989 world tour and Blake has been there shooting her upcoming shark thriller, The Shallows.
If you'll recall, the Age of Adaline star clapped back earlier this year, after Instagram users said she threw shade at Taylor in a "Bad Blood" – esque photo that she posted of herself posing with a group for Loreal Paris. "..Soooo, turns out this WASN'T a video shoot for John Legend's cover of Bad Blood @lorealparisofficial blew it out for this one," Blake jokingly captioned the shot. "My #pinkobsession is exposed now. Ok your turn. I won't tell! #AlsoTurnsOutJohnLegendIsntCoveringBadBlood Time to start a petition!," she wrote at the time.
After she noticed that people took that caption the wrong way, Blake wrote, "Umm whoever thought I was throwin shade clearly doesn't know I have a "Taylor Swift Please Be My Wife Voo Doo Doll" #obsessed Look how rad she is here making my niece Heather feel like a rock star. Love my Canadian family almost as much as I love Taylor Lively. I mean Swift," she captioned a shot of Taylor posing with her family members. "Ok, FIIINE we can hyphenate our last names. Xo Blake Swift-Lively 4eva."
Maybe Taylor will put Blake in her next music video? We can dream.
