Eff your pretense — that's the sentiment echoed in recent comments made by Tia Mowry, whose response to body-shaming critics reads like one of the most #realgirl moments we've witnessed, particularly coming from a celebrity. The "Instant Mom" star recently addressed the rude comments she's received about her weight, including those that come from nosy AF folks who have boldly pestered the star about whether she's expecting.

To state it plainly, she couldn't be more #unbothered.

"I am not pregnant," Tia told HuffPost Live. "I am just happy."

Just in case the trolls who thrive on negativity weren't totally clear on Tia's message, she had a few more words that should send them scampering back into their unfortunate misery-filled corners.

"I'm just enjoying life, and when I want to drop the pounds, I will, but right now I'm happy with who I am." The fierce 37-year-old mother of one continued, "We need to be more supportive with body images, especially with women, showing that all sizes are beautiful."

Preach, Tia.

It's no secret that the entertainment industry shamelessly perpetuates the mantra of "thin is in," placing pressure on celebs to conform to a particular, one-note standard of beauty. That said, we totally praise the way Tia embraces her body and doesn't feel the need to apologize for it.
