Although Shad "Bow Wow" Moss and former Love & Hip Hop New York star Erica Mena never made a joint appearance on the series, it seems like the dreaded reality TV curse still found a way to infiltrate the couple's romantic relationship. The pair, who announced their engagement in February, broke up a couple months back and now Shad's old boo thang is spilling all types of ish about their split — and the details aren't pretty.

Apparently, the former couple engaged in a social media spat over a photo Erica posted on Instagram, which prompted her to reveal all their behind-the-scenes issues in an interview with Global Grind, including her allegation that Bow Wow is an "abuser" who physically assaulted Joie Chavis, the mother of his daughter Shai.

"I've been quiet about it because we were engaged, but obviously he was in his feelings after my Snapchat post...I could have gone public about our breakup a month ago," Erica explained. "He does this to make headlines. Just leave me alone, I moved on; why are you still in your feelings? He's literally posting about Joie to get on my nerves and it's not working. He's posting it to f**k with her head and to try to get a reaction out of me. Listen, I walked away silently. He's an abuser."

Yikes. Clearly, this relationship has gone all the way left. Labeling someone as an abuser is a pretty heavy claim — one that Joie adamantly denies. Given the fact that Erica and Bow have a tendency to hash out their issues on social media, we probably haven't seen the last of the drama, but it's definitely best if they both keep it cute and move on with their lives.
