Investing in good makeup brushes has to be the biggest beauty tip that I've ever gotten. I picked up a gorgeous set at MAC a few years ago, and have never gone back to the days of applying eye shadow with those foam applicators or, in desperate times, a Q-Tip. (Oh, the horror!) There is one caveat to buying nice brushes, though, and that's the fact that cleaning them is a total pain. Fortunately, a new device has taken all of the hassle out of cleaning your brushes, which means you can focus on keeping your eye shadow game on fleek.

The device is called the Lilumia, and though you never knew you needed it, you definitely do - it takes all the struggle out of cleaning your makeup tools. As makeup lovers know, cleaning your brushes is majorly important, because it helps get rid of bacteria buildup that can cause acne or other skin issues. The Lilumia can clean up to a dozen brushes at once, and is super simple to use: just fill it up with water and the pre-made solution, press a button, and let the machine make your brushes sparkle! Check out this video fo the Lilumia in action: There is one catch, however, and that's the price. The Lilumia will run you $150, which is a little pricier than the soap and water recommended to clean your brushes. Though it's not cheap, it's definitely a worthy investment if you're constantly putting your brushes to work. If you're so done with hand washing, the Lilumia may be just the thing to save up for.
