While at first glance, this cute little polar bear cookie looks like it is smiling and ready for Christmas with a festive red scarf tied around its neck, Starbucks lovers started freaking out when they noticed something very creepy abut it.
Rather than seeing a ribbon, customers hit social media with pics of the cookies, saying the design of the sweet treat makes it look like someone slit the polar bear's neck with blood gushing out of it.
"I gotta love Starbucks new cookies. A polar bear with it's throat slit? That's a holiday you don't forget," one user tweeted. "Ok so Starbucks gets rid of their Christmas cups then they slit polar bear throats on their cookies?," someone else wrote, while a few others said the bear looked like Coca-Cola's polar bear, tweeting "#plagiarism."
And that was just the beginning...

No matter how many peppermint mochas Starbucks whips up this holiday season, the company can't seem to catch a break.

Maybe they'll have more luck with Valentine's Day.
