From making movies to designing clothes, Madison Pettis has a lot going on these days.

Her recent TV movie, Disney Channel's animated The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar, premiered a few weeks ago, earning super high ratings. Madison is also the star of this fall's NFL Juniors Apparel campaign, wearing the pieces in fresh high-low combinations. She even tried her hand at designing, creating five different shirt styles for Super Bowl 50 that fans voted for on Instagram. The winning shirt will be released before the Super Bowl. We don't think this NFL role could be any more fitting for the actress of The Game Plan, where she played the newly discovered daughter of a football star (played by The Rock).

The NFL Juniors Apparel collection contains six core styles: a short-sleeve burnout drop tee ($30), rolled-up sweat pant ($35), a mesh fashion shirt ($28), a dolman tee ($25), a long-sleeve boat neck shirt ($32) and a long tank ($28). All are available on the NFL Shop website.

We got the chance to catch up with Madison about her love for the Patriots, bomber jackets and what a pain in the a** writing essays can be.
CAMBIO: Which teams do you root for?
MADISON PETTIS: The Patriots! We filmed The Game Plan in Boston and shot a lot of the scenes in the movie at Gillette Stadium where the Patriots play, so that's where my love for them began. And you gotta love Tom Brady! I was born and raised in the Dallas area, so I'm also a Cowboys fan.

Tell us what you are wearing from the collection.
I love the tees with mesh sleeves and the cropped sweat pants for more laid-back, casual days. I'm wearing my Patriots ones right now actually (NFL Shop, $35) - they're so comfortable! I also love layering the short sleeve tees with long sleeves underneath. Fall is alllllll about layering!

The pieces can also be dressed up by pairing a top from your fave team with skinny jeans, heels and a cute jacket. My favorite is mixing a tee with leather pants which creates an edgier look.

Tell us about your experience modeling the NFL collection. How was it different from other shoots you've done in the past?
We shot on location at a high school in Brooklyn, which was my first photo shoot in New York, so that was very exciting! The stylist had so many great options to choose from, and I really appreciated that she allowed me to give my input as to which pieces we put together for the different looks. We also had a lot of fun props and setups, like throwing popcorn and using confetti poppers. We did a lot of active shots - throwing and catching footballs - which turned out really cute and candid. I was so proud that I actually caught the football. LOL!

What fashion trends are you really into right now, and who are your fashion inspirations?
I'm really into bomber jackets, especially army green ones. I always like military-inspired fashion in the fall. And I'm obsessed with anything leather. I love Rihanna's style because she's never afraid to take fashion risks, and she pulls off any look because she's confident in it. I also love Selena Gomez's style. She always looks chic and pulled together.

What else are you up to?
I'm in the middle of applying to colleges at the moment which is keeping me very busy - so many essays to write! I'm going to continue acting of course, but I also want to go to college to learn even more about film and TV production. And I'm excited to finish up my senior year and graduate in May! #Classof2016
