It's officially the end of an era: Pretty Little Liars will no longer air on ABC Family. But before you totally freak out about your fave show going off the air, there's no need to panic. Pretty Little Liars will still have a home - it's just the name of it that's changing.

ABC Family will be known as Freeform in the new year, and while that's not brand-new information, we do finally have a date for when that switch will happen. According to Deadline, the name switch will coincide with the Season 6B premiere of Pretty Little Liars on Jan. 12, which also happens to be the same date that new series Shadowhunters will premiere.

It seems appropriate that ABC Family will become Freeform on that day, considering Pretty Little Liars is going to be very different in itself. The Season 6B is also the first time we'll really get to explore the Liars in their new lives, as the show is jumping five years ahead. There will be a new villain, new love interests, and lots of new drama - it's only appropriate that the show gets to be on a "new" network also.

It'll definitely be strange flipping the channel to Freeform instead of ABC Family when Pretty Little Liars returns, but as long as PLL still airs somewhere, I'll be watching it.
