The 2012 song is actually a cover of The Beatles' 1979 original, but apparently The Shins' updated spin on the throwback tune is working its magic during this most wonderful time of the year.
TBH, it doesn't quite feel like the holidays unless we experience the emotional ups and down associated with hearing "All I Want For Christmas is You" on repeat every year. The song has definitely been known to evoke a range of feelings from sheer giddiness to bringing out your inner Grinch.
