The One Direction guys hit the X Factor U.K. stage yesterday to perform two songs during the finale, setting off what can only be described as an avalanche of feels. First, this is where they started, and second, this is their last scheduled live performance before they go on a long break.

Things got pretty emotional, as you'd expect. Simon Cowell shared some heartfelt words, saying, "Well, this takes me back five years ago when I met five guys singing as solo artists. I never could have predicted what happened next."

A star-studded goodbye video included sweet messages from Danny DeVito, James Corden, Little Mix, 5 Seconds Of Summer, David Beckham, and Simon, who said: "Enjoy the time off, have a fantastic time. The thing I'm probably most proud of is who you've all become...I'll always be here."

1D performed "Infinity" and "History," which included plenty of fetus moments displayed on the screen behind them. Of course, it ended in an epic final hug.

BRB, grabbing the tissues.
