Remember last week when people were freaking out over Starbucks' polar bear cookies?

It turns out the sweet holiday treats were actually old news. A Starbucks rep told us the polar bear cookies that flooded social media a few days ago haven't been available since 2010.

For some reason though, the polar bear cookies were the talk of social media last week, when people started posting photos of them and tweeting that the polar bear's red scarf looked like someone had slashed the polar bear's neck instead. While Starbucks has ditched the polar bear cookies for now, they are selling Frosted Snowman Cookies that have a red scarf similar to the polar bear cookies, as well as mini snowman doughnuts and gingerbread loaves, and Ugly Christmas Sweater Cookies that hit Starbucks stores Monday.
Aside from that festive grub, they also launched the Holiday Spice Flat White at the beginning of the season, which is the Christmas Blend Espresso Roast steamed with whole milk and infused with cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Yum!
