It's not unusual for Android users to get the short end of the stick when it comes to apps and features that keep your devices running at full potential. But the newest update from Instagram means that Android fans might actually have the advantage this time against Apple users with phone models older than iPhone 6S.
According to Tech Times, Android users can now imitate the 3D Touch feature that was previously only available to iOS users with an iPhone 6S. Of course, you won't actually have a pressure-sensitive touchscreen, but holding your finger on the screen for an extended period of time will yield the same result when using the Instagram app. Now you can "peek" at photos by bringing up the photo quickly without opening it full-scale.
This new update is going to make Instagram stalking a whooooole lot easier. Secretary, cancel the rest of my afternoon, please.
