Former Knicks player Tyson Chandler helped wash away the Biebs' sins following the pop star's early morning request for a baptism. JB, whose "reformation" takes center stage in an article from GQ's January issue, sought guidance from celeb-pastor Carl Lentz following his badboy run in 2013. Feeling "ravaged by feelings of loss," Bieber reportedly told his holy companion he wanted to be baptized.
So what happens when Bieber wants blessed? Carl reportedly called the NBA center at 2 a.m. on a cold winter's night in January nearly two years ago to get the job done.
Tyson, who was playing for the Knicks at the time before being traded to the Mavericks that off-season and then signing with the Suns, offered up his Upper West Side pad after learning Carl's desired baptism places were swarmed with paparazzi. With the pool in his building shut down for the night, they went to the bathtub instead.
Some would say Bieber's dip didn't do him any good. He was busted for a DUI just weeks later...Maybe he'll find a new way to say "sorry" in 2016? We can only hope.
