US Weekly reports that Maddie won't return to Dance Moms after its sixth season, and it's unclear whether the show will return for a seventh season. (Boo, hiss, sniff.) While the reality series obviously features other talented tween performers, hardcore Maddie fans will likely lose their ish over this news.
For one, she's a veteran on the show, having appeared on it since 2011. Secondly, it's where the masses were introduced to Maddie's unparalleled dance skills and arguably the reason why she was the epitome of #careergoals this year.
While it's certainly a bummer to see Maddie break up with the famed reality series, she obviously has plenty to look forward to, most notably an acting career, a source confirmed to US. In the meantime, we can only hope that she comes back with her own reality show (which we would totally watch, BTW). After seeing all the hard work that she put in at the Abby Lee Dance Company, it would be interesting to witness all the behind-the-scenes moments from her quickly blossoming professional life because we srsly want to know what goes down at all those fab photo shoots, awards show performances and cool a** jobs (still absolutely dying over the fact that Maddie landed a Fashion Week gig).
Sigh — now back to the sadness. Let's have a moment of silence-filled, agonizing facial expressions for Maddie's departure because we know the show won't be the same without her.
