Recently, Gerri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel B had a mini-reunion and shared a nostalgia-inducing usie from the meeting on Instagram that sent Spice Girls devotees into a frenzy. If you've barely recovered from that emotional overload, then brace yourselves: Mel C aka "Sporty Spice" recently performed "Too Much" from the group's Spiceworld album on BBC Radio's Chris Evans Breakfast Show. Although it was an acoustic rendition, it still took us all the way back and increased our need for a full-fledged Spice Girls reunion by a thousand.
Sporty sang the song live (and totally slayed it, BTW), but the only thing that could've possibly made it better was if her background musicians magically morphed into Scary, Posh, Ginger and Baby. (No shade intended.)
SIGH. Of course that didn't happen during the set, but do yourself a huge favor and check out Sporty's pared down take on "Too Much" and try to forget that too much reunion talk is just as tough as none at all.
