We all know #TheStruggle of stashing our smartphones while we exercise. Your options are basically to let it teeter precariously on your elliptical machine or slip it into an armband that's incredibly awkward to reach mid-workout to switch tracks.
Enter Lume Smart Leggings. Founded by personal trainer Waira Mungai, these leggings hold your smartphone in a mesh pocket on the front of your right thigh while still offering full touch-screen functionality - you can even take selfies through the mesh. Hey, the world may not need more mid-workout selfies, but we are totally on board with the genius idea behind these "hands-free" leggings.
Waira dreamed up the Lume leggings when he noticed girls were tucking their phones into their waistbands or sports bras before their workouts at the gym. He launched the company Lume and created a Kickstarter campaign for his smart leggings. The campaign is live for three more days, but it has already doubled its Kickstarter goal.
Lume leggings can be worn by girls and guys, and the no-slip waistband and breathable fabric will give your fave activewear brands a run for their money.
If you want to get in on these game-changing leggings, there's still time to score a pair for shipment in February. There are a very limited amount of leggings available for a pledge of $48.
Your move, Lululemon.
