Just because the year is coming to an end, doesn't mean McDonald's is done bringing on the surprises for 2015.

The fast food company might add a mac & cheese option to Happy Meals, according to Brand Eating, which reported that McDonald's is trying out new Mac & Cheese cups in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Mac & cheese isn't just for kids though. They're also selling cups of it a la carte for $1.75 at an undisclosed location in the city. So far, McDonald's hasn't released any details on the comfort food side, like what kind of cheese they're using to make it, but the majority of McDonald's lovers seem really excited about it.

"Mac 'n cheese?! yes please. And just the other day, our McDonalds already is selling mozzarella sticks," someone tweeted. "SWEET LORD @McDonalds now has Mac and Cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best day ever," another wrote.Speaking of those mozzarella sticks, McDonald's has really been into debuting new cheesy items lately. Aside from those and the Mac & Cheese cups, deep fried cheese bombs are set to hit stores in 2016, according to Eater, and McDonald's in Australia debuted Cheesy Macaroni Snacks in August.

Here's hoping this cheese-loving trend continues (and those Mac & Cheese cups make the cut).
