Bling bling indeed.

Rihanna surprised her mom, Monica Fenty, with a Christmas gift that almost blinded us when it was pulled out of the box -- a huge cross covered in what appeared to be diamonds. On an Instagram page that features Rihanna's Snapchats, her mom can be seen opening up a box, pulling out the cross and gasping.
"Oh my!," she says, adding that the gift was "dope." Rih-Rih a.k.a. Mrs. Clause shocked her family members with a ton of other gifts for Christmas too, including a Gucci diaper bag, Fendi purse, Chanel handbag and much more.

So far though, the songstress hasn't given her fans what they were wishing for this Christmas—her long-awaited new album Anti, which is supposed to drop any day now. As for why we haven't seen its release yet, songwriter Glass John, responsible for "Kiss It Better" on the album, went on a Twitter rant about just that, saying the project has been delayed because of Rihanna's rumored new bae Travis Scott.According to VH1, Glass claimed that Travis – who is producing the album – made Rihanna release "BBHMM" when they originally planned to drop "Kiss It Better" as the next single. "He's wasting valuable studio time trying to come up with a song that can top 'Kiss It Better' and he cannot because it's the best damn song," Glass tweeted.

Glass also said Travis has been trying to push trap music on Rihanna, rather than letting her give fans the Rihanna-sounding music they love. At this point though, her fans probably just want to hear the album, whether it's trap music, pop or anything else.

So far, Travis and Rihanna haven't responded to Glass' tweets (at least, not on social media), but hopefully they'll squash the drama soon and figure out the logistics so we can all finally listen to Anti.
