Taking naps in public just became a whole lot easier, thanks to the Hypnos hoodie.
This Kickstarter project - which has already met its goal of $30,000 - imagines a world where you can sleep just about anywhere. We can def get on board with that kind of future.
Hypnos manufactures sweatshirts outfitted with hoods that inflate to create an ergonomic pillow, so you can sleep on a train, in the airport or on your friend's couch, reports Refinery29. The patent-pending pillow was developed with smart AF engineers to create a design that contours and wraps around the head for awesome shut-eye, anywhere.
"We all have spare moments during the day where we can get a little bit of sleep in, we can rest ourselves," the following video by Hypnos says. "It's giving the gift of sleep to people."
When inflated, the pillow is practically undetectable - a welcome change from your conspicuous leopard-print travel neck pillow (not to mention, it's one less thing to carry around while traveling). The inflation process is lightning fast; the Hypnos Kickstarter touts a "three seconds to sleep" slogan. Hypnos hoodies come in several styles for men and women: There's a relaxed-fit ($89) or fitted pullover ($99), a relaxed-fit or fitted zip-up sweatshirt ($119) and a jacket ($139).
If you want to score a hoodie from the first run of production, you can still pledge the Kickstarter campaign for about $20 to $45 less than the average retail price. The sweatshirts will be delivered in March.
Ladies, prepare to do a lot more of this:
